    Ma. Victoria Ontanillas-Pizarro, or "Alona" as she is fondly called by her family, is a Certified Public Accountant and the current Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Don Carlos, Bukidnon. She was born on March 6, 1963 and is the eldest child among the seven children, composed of 2 boys and 5 girls. Her parents are prominent businessmen who also belonged to distinguished families.
     
    Her father, Mr. Jose C. Ontanillas, Sr. is an industrious farmer from Iloilo City whom Alona called 'a model of fathers'. Her mother, Macaria, is a highly cultured and accomplished woman from Mambajao, Camiguin whom Alona described as 'a loving and prudent mother'.
     
    Alona got married to Engr. Antonio C. Pizarro, III in 1991 and they were blessed with four lovely children namely, Maria Victoria Antonietta, Jose Antonio, Jose Miguel Anton, and Marco Lorenzo.
     
    As for her education and employment background, she completed her elementary education in Don Carlos Central Elementary School in 1976. In 1980, she finished her secondary education in Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City. She earned her degree in Accountancy from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City in 1984 and became a Certified Public Accountant in the year 1985. She worked as Assistant Municipal Treasurer in the Local Government Unit of Don Carlos, Bukidnon in the year 1986. In 1988, she was employed by the Philippine National Bank in Malaybalay City.


    Her political career started to flourish when she won as Vice Mayor in the Municipality of Don Carlos in 1998 up to 2007. She was able to complete 3 consecutive terms as Vice Mayor and finally elected as Mayor of the same town in 2007 to 2010. During the recent Local Government election, she was again elected as Vice Mayor of the municipality of Don Carlos, Bukidnon.
     
    Ma. Victoria Ontanillas-Pizarro, is a woman of honor and dignity, an epitome of a good leader and a God-fearing person.
